Your wedding day should be magical and personal. It is a day of great hope and deep commitment and I want to know what I can do to make this day perfect for you. Generally, weddings take a long time to plan, but it all comes down to this short ceremony to make it official and memorable. It is my pleasure to work with couples to design a ceremony that fits everyone's desires and beliefs.
I strongly support the force of LOVE in the world and happily wed ALL couples who love each other and are committed enough to "tie the knot."
Do you know where the phrase ""tie the knot" comes from? It comes from the ancient tradition of Handfasting. This simple act of binding a couple's hands with a ribbon or cord was used as a symbol of betrothal or marriage throughout the British Isles for centuries. It is now more popularly used in Pagan/Wiccan ceremonies but is readily adaptable and easy to include as part of a more traditional wedding ceremony.
Renewal of Vows
Many couples like to renew their vows, and maybe add to them, after a number of years of marriage. It is a wonderful way to celebrate an anniversary or a life change like the addition of children. This ceremony can be done as a big party with friends and family or privately between a couple. A renewal of vows ceremony can contain all the celebration and sincerity of your wedding, but without all the stress, expense and paperwork. It can also be an opportunity to do what you wanted to do, rather than what everyone else wanted or expected you to do, at you wedding.
